Project Role: Director of Photography/Color Grading
Black Being is an experimental short film directed by Kristi Vincent Johnson, head of the dance program at NC Central University, and based on the poem by North Carolina Poet Laureate Jaki Shelton Green. Rooted in nature and conversation with the text, the film’s site-specific choreography embodies the resilience of Black women throughout history and the spaces they inhabit.
